Personal Update
^^; Sorry that many of you are watching my new account with no updates from there. I have a ton of original artwork that'll go up soon. I just have horrible attachment to this account. I can't seem to fully let it go.

I recently went on a road trip to North Carolina and since coming back, I've randomly managed to go on an art spree. My new sketchbook has nine pieces of original artwork in it and I'm not even counting the cover. Considering the sketch book is only two days old, nine pieces of artwork on it is a lot. Heck, I usually consider myself decently inspired if I can manage to whip out one in about three months.

On that note, I've also gotten this random NEED to fill the page when I sketch.  I still suck at making backgrounds so it's mostly just a gradient or a splash of color with random shapes used as a background but I end up sitting with my sketch book having spent only about half an hour on the drawing itself and a full hour or so on the "background".

My other pattern that seems to have popped up... eyes drawn closed. I love open eyes because they're so expressive but jeez, my last three or four drawings (maybe more?) all have the characters depicted with eyes closed.

Let's see, what else has been happening? Ah, my full time job I had gotten in January shut down in March. My boss ran off to Florida without paying me about $612.  I was hospitalized from medicinal overdose in February and was discharged a week after. Despite this, I'm doing pretty good. I'm a bit behind on the things I need to get done, but I swear I'm doing decently well. I'm lacking a job once again and am feverishly looking for a different job. Wish me luck.



#ThisIsNYC Update
Summer meet is being planned! I'm hoping to have it in July. It'll be a three day event like it was two years ago. I think some structure definitely works better than no structure. So following the way it was two years ago, there will be a day to play, a day to share art, a day to sight see art. I'm really excited for this year's meet. Poll should go up soon regarding this meet.

Also, no. I will not be moving my adminship to my other account. O.o;;

So I didn't get to snoop around too much but... this person's been on dA for a bit over a month, I believe. Their gallery is definitely professional and the thing to point out is this person's posting mania. For being here one month, that's a lot of submissions this person's uploaded. I find their personality to be friendly and we definitely need a lot of those around on dA. So if you like the anime/manga style art work, this person should be added to your watch.

Hi again. How are things going? My mom came over to visit me and I was able to use her laptop for now. It's been hard trying to get back online again. But while allot of setbacks has taken place, allot of good things in other areas has gone on for me as well. It's been bittersweet I guess.

I'm not sure what I'll do here on DA yet, since I have no idea when I'll get to go online here again. But for now, I just stopped by to say hello. I wish I could be here more often really. I miss being active here.

Creativity has been extremely slow for me, but I'm still just as determine as ever. It's like chasing the Road Runner for me. Sooner or later, I'll be back on the saddle again. I'll be in touch. :)
