Moon Guardian

Whoo~ I'm so out of touch! It's been a long time since I submitted. I just received my Wacom Bamboo Pen and Touch today. What a difference! I had an aquila tablet before and I was thinking it wasn't so bad but comparing that to the bamboo, bamboo takes trophies. Tons of it. My hand doesn't hurt, I didn't have to keep scrolling around. It was so easy and fun to use!

So to test the bamboo, I did a quick paint. Hoping to get around to creating artwork that's fully mine. And when I do so, it'll be uploaded to ~HayanTokki. Hoping to start commissions soon. >.<

I tried to stick to the original character's color palette but it was difficult. The only reference I used happened to have her in a different outfit so it was difficult to try and get the original feel of the character. Her hair is supposed to be white and the reference picture had her in a blue/gold dress. I used a blue with gold accent for my palette as I wanted to keep the picture light. I really wanted to color the crescent moons gold but considering the headpiece is a signature piece on the character, it wouldn't have worked out. If the moons are gold everywhere except on her head, I felt it would be inconsistent in design.

This took roughly three hours.
