This new year's first screenshot is the first of monthly screenshots by me.

Featured in this month's screenshot is ~freelancah and his lovely DD Cryzlis.

One thing people have a hard time understanding is that wallpapers are the beautiful images you put behind your desktop. Your icons and such are displayed on top of it. And in a lot of cases, people forget or don't really care about this fact and end up creating highly saturated images or ones that are beautiful alone but will disrupt the desktop upon use. This wallpaper worked nicely. It is stunning to look at each time and doesn't have a gigantic color variation. All of my icons (I admit I do only have a few) are not straining to the eye with the wallpaper there. This is a comfortable wallpaper without being too light or too dark.
